Digvijay Singh Deo is one of India's most respected sports journalists. An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi, Digvijay has been a journalist since 2003. He has worked at Star News and Doordarshan News and joined Zee Media Corporation's global channel WION in 2017 after a 11 and a half year stint at CNN-News 18 where he was Sports Editor from 2014 till November 2016. Digvijay is currently an Executive Producer at WION and heads the sports team as well. Digvijay has been covering the Olympic movement all through his career and has covered three consecutive Olympic Games since 2008. He has also covered the Commonwealth Games and the Asian Games twice and has also covered the 2010 Football World Cup in South Africa. Digvijay has interviewed some of the leading sports personalities in world sport including Roger Federer, Tiger Woods, Michael Phelps, Boris Becker, Alan Shearer, Jamie Carragher, Jenson Button, David Coulthard and Nadia Comaneci.

He enjoys working on social issues that engulf a developing country like India, and is inclined towards a fusion of research and photographic practice. Amit has worked as a sports journalist for nearly a decade with leading TV news channels in the country and also contributes regularly to leading travel publications and various other digital news portals in India.
